The Precision Bass from the “American Vintage II” series—an exceptionally accurate reproduction of an iconic, innovative instrument—has arrived. Featuring a body shape, neck, and hardware configuration that faithfully reflect the specifications of the 1960s, along with a premium finish and pickups voiced for each specific era with meticulous attention to detail, this model encapsulates the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone. The wood specifications include an alder body paired with a 1960 “C”-shaped maple neck featuring a 7.25-inch radius slab rosewood fingerboard with vintage tall frets. Equipped with a Pure Vintage ‘60 Split-Coil P-Bass pickup, it beautifully recreates the sound and feel of the original model produced in 1960. Overall, there are numerous scratches, small dents, tarnish on the metal parts, and scratches on the pickguard. The frets have more than 70% of their original height remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
