This is a Fender USA American Vintage II (2) 1961 Stratocaster, manufactured in 2024. The American Vintage II series offers exceptionally accurate reproductions of iconic, innovative instruments.Features include an all-lacquer finish, an alder body, a 1961 “C”-shaped maple neck, a slab-jointed rosewood fingerboard, a Pure Vintage ‘61 Single-Coil Strat pickup, a Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo with cold-rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, Fender Deluxe tuning machines, and a 3-ply pickguard. This 1961 Stratocaster is characterized by its lustrous midrange and bell tone. There are signs of wear (minor scratches on the 6th-string side waist and the body back horn area, scuffs, play lines, picking marks, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
