From the listing
The American Original 60s Stratocaster—a flexible blend of the essence of the '60s—has arrived in our used inventory! Introduced in 1954, the Stratocaster matured alongside pop culture as the 1960s began. The introduction of rosewood fingerboards added a smoothness to the Strat’s tone. The American Original ‘60s Stratocaster offers the legendary styling and tone of the 1960s Strat—a time when the guitar rock scene was at its peak—along with modern playability and switching options. The potted Pure Vintage ’65 single-coil Stratocaster pickups featured on this model faithfully reproduce the specifications of the era, from the enamel-coated coil wire to the cross-cover output wire, fiber bobbins, and Alnico 5 magnets. The combination of a thicker ‘60s C neck profile and a 9.5-inch R fingerboard radius delivers smoother playability.Featuring vintage tall frets, the original body radius, vintage-style hardware—including a six-point-mounted synchronized tremolo bridge—a vintage-style hard case, and a lacquer finish that delivers superb tone and exquisite aging characteristics, this guitar reflects the iconic specifications of ’60s models down to the finest details while offering the playability modern players demand. The American Original ‘60s Stratocaster is the perfect model for experiencing the performance, styling, and tone of the ’60s Stratocaster—the guitar that legendary guitarists unanimously chose. There are play marks on the pickguard, as well as cracks in the pickguard centered around the pickup selector screws. The body shows slight discoloration, as well as scratches on the top and back, and a slight stain at the body end, but there is no major damage. There is a small dent near the tip of the headstock and slight peeling on the logo decal, but these do not constitute significant damage. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: V1973528 Year of Manufacture: 2019 Country of Manufacture: United States
