From the listing
The American Original '50s Stratocaster offers modern playability and switching options in addition to the legendary styling and tone of the original model. The potted Pure Vintage ’59 single-coil Stratocaster pickups featured on this guitar faithfully reproduce the original specifications, from the Formvar-coated coil wire to the cross-cover output wire, fiber bobbins, and Alnico 5 magnets. The thick Soft V neck shape is ideal for chord playing, and the 9.5-inch R fingerboard radius delivers modern playability. From vintage tall frets, the original model’s body radius, and vintage-style hardware—including a six-point-mounted synchronized tremolo bridge—to a vintage-style hard case and a lacquer finish that delivers superb tone and exquisite aging characteristics, this guitar reflects the iconic specifications of ’50s models down to the finest details while offering the playability modern players demand. The American Original ‘50s Stratocaster is the perfect model for experiencing the performance, styling, and tone of the Stratocaster—the guitar that made Fender’s name among guitarists. There is some tarnish on the metal parts and discoloration on the volume knob. On the neck side near the 1st string, between the 2nd and 10th frets, the finish has thinned along the grain of the wood, creating what appears to be a white line-like scratch. The body shows noticeable discoloration, along with dents accompanied by paint chips; there are fine scratches on the skunk stripe area on the back of the neck; the pickguard is lifting on both the 6th and 1st string sides; and there are signs of wear such as winding marks on the headstock side. It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is suitable for normal use. Serial Number: V1746177 Year of Manufacture: 2017 Country of Manufacture: USA Case: Hard Case Accessories: Arm, bridge cover, instruction manual Weight: 3.52 k
