Fender USA Eric Clapton Stratocaster Noiseless Black The Eric Clapton Stratocaster captivates fans of Eric Clapton’s signature “Slowhand” style with its versatile sound. It features an alder body and three Vintage Noiseless pickups. A 25 dB active mid-boost circuit delivers the distinctive sound of this model. Based on Clapton’s specifications, it features a special V-shaped neck and a blocked tremolo unit. TBX Tone Control The first tone control knob operates this guitar’s TBX (Treble-Bass Expander) tone circuit. The knob has a click at the center position (position 5) and operates from zero to the click, just like a standard tone control. Turning the knob clockwise from the detent adds presence and brightness, while turning it counterclockwise from the click rolls off the high frequencies. Active Mid Boost The tone control knob functions as an active mid-boost control. Turning it clockwise boosts midrange and low-frequency ranges while attenuating high-frequency ranges. This is a relatively clean instrument, though it does have some minor scratches and dents. The neck is currently straight, and the truss rod is adjustable.
