An early Lace Sensor-spec Clapton Stratocaster in striking Torino Red! A 1990 Fender USA Eric Clapton Stratocaster in Torino Red has just arrived! This guitar has long been a favorite as Eric Clapton’s signature model. This particular instrument features the early specification with three Lace Sensor pickups, a TBX tone control with a center click, and an active mid-boost. Building on a clear, well-balanced Strat-like tone, the mid-boost function adds excellent midrange punch, allowing it to deliver a rich, full-bodied lead sound. The combination of the vibrant Torino Red body and maple neck is also striking. The volume pot, output jack, and battery snap have been replaced, so you can continue to play this guitar hard for years to come. While there are some dents on the back and sides of the neck and on the fingerboard, as well as scratches on the body, minor dents, and some discoloration on the parts—all signs of age-appropriate wear—the guitar has been cleaned and set up and is in pristine condition.
