A 1979 Fender Telecaster (Natural) has arrived!! Serial No.: S837465, Neck Date: 13022794, Pot Date: This 1979 model epitomizes the latter half of the CBS era. Featuring specifications unique to the 1970s, it has a 3-bolt design equipped with a “micro-tilt mechanism” that allows for fine-tuning of the neck angle, and a heavy ash body weighing 4.39 kg. This weight produces a distinctive, tight tone. The combination of the heavy body and high-output pickups results in a very cut-through, hard, and bright Telecaster sound. It’s perfect for cutting and aggressive rock. The frets and nut have been replaced; during this process, the fingerboard was refinished and the entire guitar was relacquered. The pickups are original, though the front pickup has been rewound. The pots, selector switch, and capacitor are all original. While there are some scratches and dents commensurate with its age, the guitar has been thoroughly set up, resulting in outstanding playability. Of course, there is plenty of truss rod adjustment left. Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.
