The 1958 Les Paul Standard from the “Standard Historic” series, introduced in 2016, carries on the specifications of the 2014 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul. The body is made of figured maple and mahogany, the neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. Since the pickups have a resistance value close to 8 kΩ, they are likely Custombuckers rather than E-Buckers. There are scuff marks on the fingerboard, playwear visible on the body’s top and pickguard, and a crack in one of the control knobs. There are other signs of wear due to the VOS finish, but the overall condition is good.
