From the listing
A used Custom Shop '65 Strat with custom specs, a multi-layer finish, and heavy relicing has just arrived! This guitar is part of the “Wildwood 10” dealer-order series from the major U.S. music store “Wildwood Guitars.” As the name suggests, its most distinctive feature is the 10-inch fingerboard radius, along with custom-wound pickups and carefully selected woods. This guitar features a '65 Strat “C”-shaped neck made of 2A flame maple and a fingerboard crafted from carefully selected dark Indian rosewood. The combination of the 10" radius and 6105 narrow-tall frets provides a neck with a solid grip while still offering modern playability. The alder body features a multi-layer lacquer finish in “Faded Black on Faded Surf Green.” Combined with a Heavy Relic finish, the Surf Green peeks through the chipped paint, creating a vintage-like atmosphere that evokes a story of wear—such as picking marks and buckle scuffs. The back of the neck also features a Relic finish with chipped paint, giving it a smooth texture that makes it slightly slippery to the touch. The custom-wound pickups exclusive to the WW10 feature an RWRP configuration in the middle position to reduce noise in the mix position, and the rear pickup is wired so that the tone control is effective, making it easy to use. The hardware, including the bridge and tuning pegs, also features a Relic finish. Due to the Heavy Relic finish, the guitar comes with paint chipping, scratches, and dents from the factory; therefore, it is difficult to distinguish between these and damage caused by use. However, since approximately 10 years have passed since manufacture, there are likely to be some minor play-related scratches. Nevertheless, there is no damage that detracts from the overall aesthetic. We will clean and perform a full adjustment upon arrival to ensure it is in perfect working order. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches are present, but the guitar is suitable for normal use. Serial Number: R77559
