Seller's description

A used 1969 Stratocaster from the Time Machine series—which recreates the specifications of each model year using the Custom Shop’s advanced craftsmanship—has just arrived! It was manufactured in 2006. It features an alder body with a NOS-style lacquer finish that recreates the look of a brand-new instrument, a straight-grained maple neck, and a round-inlaid maple fingerboard. The CBS logo shines brightly on the large headstock. This is a heavily worn instrument with numerous dents and scratches on the body, as well as peeling paint on the lower portion of the body. Fine nicks, which appear to have been intentionally created, can be seen around the outer edge of the body. The paint on the sides of the fingerboard is peeling and lifting; there is paint chipping on the back of the neck at the 2nd fret, fine dents across the entire back of the neck, and numerous paint chips on the tip of the headstock. Rust is noticeable on the screws and pickup pole pieces. There is paint chipping at the neck joint, the finish on the cutaway is dull, and there are noticeable buckle marks on the body back and back panel. The instrument has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival, and the neck has been straightened and the frets leveled.
