From the listing
The Jaguar boasts the responsive feel and distinctive look that only a short-scale guitar can offer! We’ve just received a Fender Japan JG66-85 3-Tone Sunburst manufactured around 1997–2000! This Japanese-made Jaguar is modeled after specifications from around 1966, featuring an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Its vintage-inspired look—combining a large headstock, dot position markers, and a tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard—is another major draw. In addition to the playability offered by its 24-inch short scale, it’s equipped with two Jaguar-style single-coil pickups. It delivers a bright, sparkling tone with clear definition and plenty of punch, and you can create a wide range of sounds by using the individual pickup on/off switches, the low-cut switch, and the preset circuit. This distinctive Fender Japan Jaguar also lets you enjoy the unique vibrato effect of its floating tremolo system. While there are signs of age-appropriate wear—such as buckle scratches on the back of the body, dents along the body edges, and some tarnish on the metal parts—it has been cleaned and set up and is in good condition. Don’t miss this opportunity to own it!
