Seller's description

This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster ST62-53, manufactured between 1993 and 1994. It features a 1962-style "Spalo" logo, a slab rosewood fingerboard, and a 3-piece pickguard. It has a basswood body, a maple neck, and is equipped with an ST-SINGLE pickup. This 60s Strat with a basswood body—which has a neutral tone—is known for its well-rounded sound. One back panel screw is missing, and there are signs of wear (discoloration, paint chips around the body’s perimeter, at the joint, and at the base of the strap pins; scuffs, playing scratches, picking marks; and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The originally narrow fret tops have been leveled to a lower profile but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in both directions and has been tested to operate within a range of ±60°. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
