From the listing
We have received a Fujigen ST54-900. This is the ST54-900, a high-end model from Fender Japan that reproduces the very earliest specifications of the Stratocaster; based on the neck date, we have determined it was manufactured in 1991. It features a two-piece alder body with a lacquer finish, a soft V-shaped one-piece maple neck, a round string guide, and a single-ply pickguard. While the pickups are original, all pots have been replaced with CTS, the selector switch is a CRL 3-way, the jack is a Switchcraft, and the capacitor has been replaced with a Vitamin-Q. Although the pickguard has been replaced, the screw holes did not align with the body due to shrinkage over time, so we have made the necessary adjustments. The nut has been replaced, the frets have been upgraded to jumbo frets, the neck grip has been refinished, and the finish on the fingerboard surface has been stripped. The body’s lacquer has deteriorated significantly due to paint reactions, and there are numerous scratches, dents, and areas of peeling paint scattered throughout the instrument. Although it shows significant signs of wear, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is good. The tremolo arm is missing. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of wear, but is suitable for normal use Serial Number: MIJ L001956 Year of Manufacture: 1991 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Weight: 3.42 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement tested up to 60 degrees in both directions with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String height (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.7 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.2 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 24.5 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") RADIUS: 184 mm (7.25") Strings at Setup: D'Addario EXL110 / .010-.046 set Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string rep
