From the listing
The Fender Japan JB62-US, modeled after a Jazz Bass from around 1962. This model features a 3-Color Sunburst alder body paired with a rosewood fingerboard and is equipped with Fender USA-made JB Vintage pickups. It features vintage-style specifications, including 2-volume/1-tone controls and a bridge with spiral saddles. Positioned as a high-end model within the JB62 series—distinguished by its USA-made pickups—it delivers the classic Jazz Bass sound, ranging from rich, full-bodied lows to clear, well-defined mid-to-high frequencies. Stamps reading “JB62-US” on the neck joint and “JB62-US 3TS” on the neck pocket confirm that this instrument was manufactured as a JB62-US. The pickups are made in the USA with black bobbins and black-and-white vinyl lead wires; the front pickup is stamped “048612” and the rear pickup “048613.” There are some minor scratches, dents, and tarnish on the metal, but no particularly noticeable damage is visible. The neck shows a slight bend on the G-string side, with some twisting and waviness. The frets have been leveled, and playability is good.
