We have received a Fender Japan Stratocaster from the "G" serial number era, made in Japan. This guitar is manufactured by Fujigen, a company that handles OEM production for various domestic brands and has recently expanded its own original brand lineup. Although the neck pocket is marked "STD-57," we have determined it to be an ST57-55 based on its basswood body and Japanese-made pickups. Neck date: Manufactured in 1989. It features 1957-spec specifications, including a one-piece maple neck and a single-ply pickguard. There are dents on the body top and deep scratches and dents on the body back. There is wood wear near the 10th fret on the G-string side of the neck. There are also minor scratches, dents, and tarnish on the metal parts, showing significant wear consistent with its age. It has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival and is in perfect playing condition. Condition Grade: B: Significant scratches and signs of use, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: MIJ G010226 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Weight: 3.32 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees left and right with no problems Fret Wear: Note: While the frets can still withstand filing, they are on the low side String height (low-string side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String height (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 41.7 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 20.4 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 23.3 mm Scale: 648mm (25.5") Radius: 184mm (7.25") Strings at setup: ERNIE BALL 2221 / .010-.046 set Repairs and Maintenance: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and leveling * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not visible in the photos or not listed here.
