A One-of-a-Kind ST57 Has Arrived Used! A used Fender Japan ST57-55 with a "Made in Japan" F serial number has arrived! The neck pocket features an "STD-57" engraving with an "S" inside a red circle, and the neck bears an "ST-57" engraving along with the "6-24·89" signature. Since its arrival, the pickups have been replaced (model unknown / cross-wired), the capacitor has been replaced (VITAMIN Q type), and the tuning pegs have been replaced (model unknown / Rotomatic type).There are scattered scratches and dents throughout the body. While there are signs of wear on the fingerboard, such as chipped paint, there are currently no issues that would affect playability. The hardware shows signs of deterioration, such as tarnish and rust, but there are currently no functional issues.
