From the listing
This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster ST72-55, manufactured by Fujigen from 1984 to 1987. This guitar faithfully follows the 70s style, featuring a large headstock, a bullet truss rod, and a three-point neck joint. Its appeal lies in the solid build quality typical of Fender Japan from that era and its easy-to-play feel. The single-coil pickups deliver a true Stratocaster sound, ranging from clear, open clean tones to crisp, cutting tones. The tremolo arm and back panel are missing. There is a large dent on the body top exposing the wood, paint chips on the 6th-string horn and elbow contour areas, and numerous dents on the body back. There is wood wear on the fingerboard surface, as well as on the neck and headstock sides. There are also scratches, dents, and tarnish on the metal parts, giving it a well-used appearance; it is in “player’s condition.” It has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival and plays without any issues. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and tear, but is suitable for normal use Serial Number: MIJ/E971691 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Weight: 3.57 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String action (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.16 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.33 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 23.20 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") Radius: 184 mm (7.25") Strings at Setup: ERNIE BALL 2223 / .009-.042 set Repairs and Maintenance: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, fret leveling, selector switch replacement Other: Back panel and tremolo arm missing * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
