From the listing
We've just received a used FENDER JAPAN ST72-75 in Yellow and White! Manufactured by Fujigen from 1984 to 1987. Features an "ST72-75" stamp on the neck pocket. This is a model featuring a large headstock, a bullet truss rod cap, a three-point neck joint, and a scalloped fingerboard—likely sold prior to the release of Fender Japan’s Ingwie models. The scalloping is wider on the G-string side and tapers toward the E-string side. The pickups include Dimarzio HS-3s on the front and rear, with what appears to be a USA-made pickup in the middle. There is some fading on the body finish. There is paint chipping near the neck strap pin, paint chipping and a small crack at the neck joint, and significant paint peeling on the body side near the 1st string. There are scratches on the headstock top and near the tuner on the 1st string side. While there are minor scratches, dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts throughout the guitar, it is still a fully playable instrument. It has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival and plays perfectly. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is suitable for normal use Serial Number: MIJ/E784616 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Accessories: Arm Weight: 3.34 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement confirmed up to 60 degrees left and right with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String height (low string side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String height (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.4mm Scale: 648mm (25.5") Strings at setup: 09-42 Repairs and Maintenance: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections that are not visible in the photos or not listed here.
