From the listing
A model made at the Kalamazoo factory, commonly known as the “Leo’s Vintage Reissue,” has arrived. Manufactured in 1982, this reissue model was commissioned by the California music store “Leo’s” and produced by Gibson with specifications inspired by late 1950s Les Pauls. Produced at the Kalamazoo factory, it incorporates bold, vintage-oriented details for its time, such as a two-piece maple top, mahogany back, one-piece mahogany neck, and a small headstock. The assembly is original, and it is equipped with a PAF reissue humbucker commonly known as the “Tim Shaw PAF.” The sound offers a richness distinct from current reissue models, retaining definition while delivering a dry, punchy tone with excellent projection. While there are some scratches, dents, and signs of wear on the parts, the overall condition is good considering its age. The frets have been dressed and have about 5–6 minutes of life remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable. The handle on the hard case has been replaced. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: L1 0079 Year of Manufacture: 1982 Country of Manufacture: USA Case: Genuine hard case Weight: 4.44 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement confirmed up to 60 degrees left and right with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 41.9 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.2 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 25.5 mm Scale: 628 mm (24.75") RADIUS: 305 mm (12") Strings at Setup: D'Addario EXL110 / .010-.046 set Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
