Seller's description

Exclusive to Ishibashi! A legend revived after more than half a century! A special TL model is here! A special model packed with meticulous attention to detail is here! We’ve crafted the ever-popular “50s Telecaster with front humbucker” in black with a white pickguard! Upgraded to an ash body! While the current MIJ Traditional series uses basswood for the body, after careful consideration, we’ve upgraded to 50s-style ash. Although this wood typically showcases its grain, the fact that it remains hidden on this black model adds a touch of luxury. The sound delivers the quintessential Telecaster experience—a responsive, crisp tone that you can fully enjoy. Modeled after late-50s Telecasters, it features a comfortable C-shaped neck with 21 vintage frets. The fingerboard radius is 7.25", which will feel fresh to players accustomed to modern guitars. Additionally, the headstock logo is positioned higher than the wing-shaped string guide, resulting in a look that will satisfy vintage enthusiasts. Grover tuners are used here; while this may seem like an unusual specification for a Fender guitar—which typically uses Kluson tuners—just as with the aforementioned natural-colored Telecaster, this black Telecaster is an indispensable element of its “other legendary counterpart.” You’ll surely feel the substantial weight of the headstock, which is unique to this model, as well as the tuning precision characteristic of a through-body Telecaster bridge. The use of a white Strat-style switch selector is also a tribute to the legend. Why is a humbucker pickup needed on the front? It offers richer harmonics than a standard single-coil pickup, allowing for a thick, mellow sound while retaining the Telecaster’s signature clarity and high-end response—making it the ideal tone, especially for lead playing. This specification is beloved by many Fender users and highly sought after, as seen in models like the USA Custom Shop and the former Fender Japan Special series. Included: Sof
