An 80s Ibanez with a more aggressive sound, featuring a TB-4 in a streamlined single-humbucker configuration The PL5510 is part of the Pro Line series, produced exclusively in 1987. Its appeal lies in a simple yet practical configuration: a single humbucker at the bridge paired with just a volume control, combined with an Edge tremolo. The pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan TB-4, resulting in a more modern and user-friendly sound with enhanced midrange presence and power compared to the original. The slant-mounted pickup configuration balances rich low-end depth with clear high-end projection, and the response when distorted is exceptionally direct. The straightforward signal, free from unnecessary circuitry, faithfully brings out the amp’s character and handles a wide range of genres, from rock to heavy styles.
