Yamaha’s innovative “TransAcoustic” series allows you to produce reverb and chorus effects directly from the guitar itself, without the need for an amplifier or effects pedals. Key specifications include an A.R.E.-treated solid Engelmann spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back, a 5-piece neck made of mahogany and rosewood, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge. Its appeal lies in the rich resonance of the all-solid body, the deep bass characteristic of rosewood, and the clear high frequencies. It also features SYSTEM70 TransAcoustic, the model’s standout feature. By using actuators inside the body to vibrate the guitar itself, you can enjoy sounds with reverb and chorus effects without connecting to an amplifier. As for its condition, there are some minor scratches and scuffs from use. There are also two relatively large dents on the top of the body. The neck has a very slight forward bow, and the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.0 mm on the 1st string side. The truss rod has been tested for movement up to 60 degrees in both directions, and there are currently no issues with its adjustment function. The frets are at a playable height, with approximately 80% of their original depth remaining. We have also deburred the frets in-house. The electronics are functioning properly. The original gig case is included. This instrument combines an authentic acoustic sound from an all-solid body treated with A.R.E. technology with the TransAcoustic feature, which eliminates the need for an amplifier.
