Made in Japan, the RG from the “Prestige” series. The RG2550E, part of the RG “Prestige” series, has enjoyed enduring popularity as Ibanez’s flagship electric guitar model since its debut in 1988. Manufactured between 2005 and 2007, this model features a basswood body, a 5-piece maple/walnut neck with an ultra-thin Wizard neck profile, and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with an ibz pickup co-developed with DiMarzio and features an original Edge Pro bridge, which allows for string locking without cutting the ball ends of the strings. This is an all-around guitar that not only boasts exceptional playability but also comes equipped with user-friendly features. Overall, there are scratches, dents, paint chips, tarnish and rust on the metal parts, and strap pin hole marks on the body end. More than 70% of the frets remain, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable. The strap pin has been replaced with a locking pin, and the tip (on the strap side) is missing.
