Seller's description

A one-of-a-kind guitar featuring an Ishibashi custom reverse headstock! Based on an early 1959 model with a rosewood fingerboard, this custom-order guitar features a reverse headstock—a design not found on standard models. The warm, lustrous tone characteristic of the 1959 style, combined with the altered string tension created by the reverse headstock, produces a unique playing experience that goes far beyond just its appearance. Featuring an alder body, a quarter-sawn maple neck with a “59 Esquire ‘C’” profile, a 12-inch radius fingerboard, and “6150” frets, this guitar offers exceptional playability. Equipped with “FAT 50s” pickups, it delivers a bright, cutting rock sound. Overall, there are some scuffs and minor scratches, stand marks on the headstock side, and some tarnish on some of the metal parts. The frets have at least 70% of their original height remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
