The 2018 Summer Event Limited Edition 1958 Stratocaster Heavy Relic has arrived!! A limited-edition model created for the 2018 Summer Event. It is based on a Stratocaster modeled after a 1958 original, featuring a ’56 Strat-style two-piece alder body paired with a quarter-sawn flame AA maple neck and fingerboard. The neck shape is based on the ’59 Esquire “C,” resulting in a solid, thick neck. The fingerboard radius is 9.5, designed with modern playability in mind. It is equipped with Custom Shop hand-wound FAT50 pickups. A pickup from another manufacturer had been installed in the bridge position, but it has since been replaced with the original. The replaced pickup was not included because an abnormality in its output was detected. After arrival, a professional repair technician inspected and performed a full adjustment on the guitar, and it is in excellent playing condition. Included are a non-original hard case, certificate of authenticity, Summer Event card, spec sheet, tremolo arm, bridge cover, springs, strap (with slight signs of use), tags, and paperwork.
