From the listing
Like the “Master Build,” the “Team Built Custom” model is primarily a limited-run, made-to-order model produced by music stores and dealers. Based on “Blackie”—the Stratocaster synonymous with Eric Clapton, which he cherished as his main guitar until his retirement—this is the Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Stratocaster. It features a select alder body, a soft V-shaped one-piece figured maple neck, a 648mm (25.5") scale length, a 9.5R fretboard radius, and a 42mm nut. It is equipped with three Vintage Noiseless pickups, volume and tone controls, and a 25dB mid-boost. Crafted by the Custom Shop using the exact same specifications as the guitar Clapton himself played, this Clapton model excels not only in its authentic design but also in playability and tone. Although it shows slight signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, the characteristic warping of the 8-screw pickguard—which is also present on Clapton’s actual guitar—and tarnish on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic imperfections), it is in good condition. The case is white Tolex rather than tweed. It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string action adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good working order. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: CZ519234 Year of Manufacture: 2011 Country of Manufacture: United States Case: Hard Case (Non-Original) Accessories: Arm, wrench, certificate Weight: 3.77 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement tested up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playability Nut width: 41.2 mm Neck shape: Soft “V” Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.0 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 24.0 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") Radius: 241 mm (9.5") Strings at Setup: ER
