The flagship model of the Aerodyne series, featuring a modern design. The Fender Japan AJB-58 combines the wide range of sound-shaping possibilities offered by the PJ pickup configuration with a sophisticated look. The arched-top basswood body is accented with body binding, and the vibrant Old Candy Apple Red finish paired with the matching headstock creates a striking presence. The result is a stylish design that sets it apart from standard Jazz Basses. The entire finish is satin. There is a noticeable dent and a small chip in the finish on the back of the body near the first string. In addition, there are numerous scuffs and fine dents, as well as playing wear on the pickguard and some tarnish on the metal hardware. It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival.
