From the listing
An easy-to-play USA pickup configuration that lets you enjoy a '70s style with ease The ST72-58US incorporates early ’70s specifications such as a large headstock, a three-point neck mounting, and a bullet truss rod. Beyond its striking appearance, this guitar’s appeal lies in its construction, which faithfully captures the details of that era. Equipped with USA-made vintage-style single-coil pickups, it delivers the clear, punchy sound characteristic of a Stratocaster. It handles a wide range of tones, from clean to light overdrive, and offers a well-balanced sound that’s easy to play across all genres. Key features include a basswood body paired with a maple neck for a lightweight, agile feel, along with the reliable build quality typical of Japanese craftsmanship. This model successfully balances a ’70s-inspired look with practicality, making it an excellent choice for everyday use. Fading is visible across the entire body. There are a few paint cracks near the neck joint. There are other signs of wear, such as scratches, dents, and discoloration on parts. The tuning pegs, pickguard, nut, and frets have been replaced. The electronics have also been modified, including the replacement of the pots. The neck was slightly wavy and the frets were indented, so they have been filed down. There are currently no issues with its playability. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: CIJ Q071239 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Weight: 3.36 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees to the left and right—no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String height (low-string side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.2 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.1 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 24.6 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") RADIUS: 184 mm (7.25") Strings at Setup: D'Addario EXL120 / .009-.04
