A popular SG series Yamaha guitar from the '80s has arrived in our used inventory! This particular model, released back then as a mid-range option, features a wing-body through-neck construction not found on other variants in the series. It was also released in a range of see-through finishes, allowing you to see the internal structure clearly from the front. It offers the smooth, extended sustain characteristic of a through-neck design, a bright, clear sound, and—thanks to the Bi-Sound system—coil-tapping capability for the humbucker pickups. The rear tone pot has been replaced. There are scattered scratches and dents throughout the body, as well as signs of wear such as discoloration on the binding, slight gaps caused by the binding lifting in various places around the body’s perimeter, and tarnished or peeling hardware plating; however, there are currently no major issues affecting playability.
