From the listing
A Les Paul Deluxe Conversion that combines the classic Gibson style of the 1970s with the power of full-size humbuckers! This is a 1975 Gibson USA Les Paul Deluxe Humbucker Conversion.Based on a Les Paul Deluxe equipped with mini humbuckers, this model features a conversion to full-size humbuckers. It’s an attractive choice for players seeking the thick mid-to-low frequencies and rich sustain characteristic of a Les Paul. Its appearance, which exudes the distinctive style of the mid-1970s, is another highlight; you can savor the charm of Gibson from that era while using it across a wide range of genres, including rock. This vintage guitar offers a unique character distinct from the original Deluxe—one worth appreciating along with the story behind its conversion. Due to the overbinding, the frets have likely been replaced, and the nut may also have been replaced. Both the front and rear pickups are numbered PAFs. The bridge, tailpiece, and tuning pegs have also been replaced. The volume pots had been replaced with Japanese-made ones, but due to malfunctions, they were all replaced with CTS pots, and the knobs were also replaced at the same time. The finish on the back of the neck is peeling, and there are other signs of wear consistent with its age, such as scratches, dents, peeling paint, and tarnished or rusted parts. There are no issues with the current playability. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of wear, but is suitable for normal use. Serial Number: 99 Year of Manufacture: 1975 Country of Manufacture: United States Case: Hard case Weight: 4.56 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement tested up to 60 degrees in both directions with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 43.5 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 20.4 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 25.7 m
