From the listing
The Gibson J-45 Banner Logo has arrived. Unlike the extra-thick necks and ebony rods (without a steel core) found on original wartime models, this guitar features a practical neck with a solid truss rod (dual-action rod). Combined with over 30 years of aging, it produces a "dry, mature, and loud Gibson tone" that you won't find in current models. Regarding the condition, there are crack-prevention repairs on both sides of the neck on the body top, applied from the inside. Additionally, there are crack-prevention patches visible on the body top near the first string and on the body back next to the neck heel. The body back shows some clouding of the finish and paint cracks near the center, and there are strap pin holes on the neck heel. Furthermore, the finish may have been oversprayed in places, and overall, the guitar shows signs of use. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is in good working condition for normal use Serial Number: 92975003 Year of Manufacture: 1995 Country of Manufacture: USA Case: Hard Case Weight: 2.00 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees left and right with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String height (low string side): 2.5 mm at the 12th fret String height (treble side): 2.1 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 43.5 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.5 mm Scale: 628mm (24.75") RADIUS: 305mm (12") Strings at setup: D'Addario EJ-16 / .012-.053 set Repairs/Maintenance: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, bridge leveling * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not visible in the photos or not listed here.
