A used 1998 Gibson ES-175 Vintage Sunburst has just arrived! A used ES-175—whose prices continue to rise year after year—has arrived! The model we’ve just received is a 1998 model. It features a laminated body (maple/poplar/maple), a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with two “57 Classic” pickups—which are incredibly popular and pair perfectly with full-acoustic guitars. This is a truly captivating guitar with a rich, full-bodied, sweet tone. As for its condition, there are scratches and scuff marks throughout the body, and some parts show signs of wear. Additionally, there is a crack in the finish on the side of the fingerboard, and a crack in one of the control knobs. The truss rod nut, jack, and strap pins have been replaced. Please note that due to the replacement of the truss rod nut, a gap has formed where the nut contacts the truss rod cover when it is installed. Additionally, the tip of the internal steel core is chipped. Although there are signs of wear as described above, there are currently no issues with playability, and the instrument is in good playing condition. The neck is in good condition, and the frets still have plenty of height remaining. This is a guitar that still has plenty of life left in it! Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 92686373 Year of Manufacture: 1998 Country of Manufacture: USA Case: Hard case Accessories: Wrench, original jack Weight: 3.25 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String action (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.9 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.3 mm Scale: 624 mm (24.56") RADIUS: 305 mm (12") Strings at setup: D'Addario EXL115W / .011-.049 set Modifications: Strap pins, truss rod nut, jack Repairs and Ma
