From the listing
A modern-style Les Paul that plays smoothly all the way up to the high frets A 1998 Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway. The body combines a mahogany back with an AAA-grade flamed maple top, finished in a black-based see-through finish that highlights the three-dimensional grain of the wood for a premium look. Paired with gold hardware, it exudes a luxurious presence characteristic of that era. The double cutaway design and 24-fret configuration significantly improve access to the higher frets compared to traditional Les Pauls. While retaining the rich sustain and full midrange characteristic of the set-neck construction, this guitar is characterized by a well-balanced sound that offers excellent clarity and quick response. The controls feature a simple 1-volume/1-tone configuration, making it easy to handle during live performances and in everyday use. While retaining the characteristic thickness of a Les Paul, this guitar is designed with a strong emphasis on playability. There are signs of wear, such as minor scratches, dents, and some discoloration on the parts, but considering its age, it is in relatively good condition. Since there was some variation in fret height, the frets have been leveled. The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
