A 1996 Les Paul Custom has arrived. With its elegant appearance—featuring a wine-red finish, multi-color binding, gold hardware, and mother-of-pearl inlays—the Les Paul Custom has captivated many rock guitarists. It is equipped with the original 490R/498T pickup combination from that era, featuring specifications designed to deliver the hard-hitting sound sought after at the time. With a slim, ’60s-style neck profile that offers excellent playability, this guitar resists distortion even with heavy distortion settings and delivers rich sustain for lead guitar playing. The pickguard is missing; there are overall scratches and dents, some dulling and wear on the finish, and the metal parts have lost their luster; there are also cracks in the finish around the neck binding. The frets have been filed down and have about 7/10 of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
