A 1978 Fender Mustang has just arrived!! The serial number on the headstock, as well as the dates stamped on the pots and pickups, all match 1978, and the electrical components—including the ON/OFF switch, capacitor, and jack—are all original. The pickguard is marked “S82XXX”; although the number is incomplete, it is believed to be original since it matches the headstock serial number. There is paint peeling along the entire neck—a common issue with 1970s models—with significant peeling in many areas, particularly from the fret side to the fingerboard surface. While it shows signs of wear typical of its age, it was inspected and fully adjusted by a professional repair technician upon arrival, and is in good playing condition. * Tremolo arm missing.
