A 2010 Historic Collection Hand Select Top 1958 Les Paul Standard VOS Lemon Burst has arrived. Produced by the Gibson Custom Shop as part of the "Historic Collection"—a series of reissues of legendary instruments—the Historic Collection represents a top-tier lineup crafted with meticulous attention to detail. While the ’58 model is often made with a plain top, this guitar features a hand-selected figured top. Unlike the maple tops commonly seen on Gibson guitars, this instrument boasts a unique grain pattern with its own distinct charm. It is equipped with the “Burstbucker 1 & 2” pickups, which were standard at the time. There are noticeable dents on the neck (near the back of the nut) and on the body side near the 6th string. The frets show slight wear, but there is no muffling, and there is still room for refretting. There are other signs of wear, such as scratches, but these do not affect playability. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 801606 Year of Manufacture: 2010 Country of Manufacture: USA Case: Hard Case Accessories: Certificate of Authenticity, Pre-Pack Checklist, key, and other paperwork Weight: 4.09 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement tested up to 60 degrees in both directions with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Strings at Setup: D'Addario EXL110 / .010-.046 set * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here. Please be aware of this in advance. * Any specifications listed regarding the truss rod, remaining fret life, or string action were measured by our staff during setup; these measurements are subject to change due to environmental factors such as climate and humidity.
