From the listing
A 1957 Les Paul Standard Double Gold from the Gibson Custom Shop, built in 2025. The "Double Gold" finish recreates the vintage Goldtop look; by mixing brass powder into the paint, the finish will develop rust over time and change color to the distinctive green hue of patina. It is equipped with Custom Buckers. With the distinctive look of the Double Gold finish introduced in 2019 and excellent natural resonance, this is a masterpiece that combines character and sound. It features the original VOS finish and is in good condition, though it shows slight signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, etc.). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been verified to function properly within a range of 60° to either side. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 751524 Year of Manufacture: 2025 Country of Manufacture: United States Case: Hard Case Accessories: Certificate of Authenticity, Backplate Weight: 3.88 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement up to 60 degrees to the left and right has been verified and is normal Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String action (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.4 mm Neck Shape: 50s Rounded Medium C Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 23.5 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 26.4 mm Scale: 628 mm (24.75") Radius: 305 mm (12") Strings at Setup: ERNIE BALL 2221 / .010-.046 set Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
