The 2024 Murphy Lab 1957 Les Paul Junior is now in stock! Using aging techniques honed over many years, this guitar features subtle weather checking and aged hardware, recreating the look and feel of a guitar that has been cherished and carefully preserved for decades. This 1957-spec Les Paul Junior from Murphy Lab exudes an authentic vintage vibe. The “Heavy Aged” finish faithfully reproduces realistic weather checking and the natural patina of aged parts, giving it a presence that rivals genuine vintage instruments. The long-tenon, glued mahogany neck features a “50s Rounded Medium C” profile. It balances moderate thickness with excellent playability, while the Custom Dogear P-90 pickup delivers the straight, responsive sound unique to the Junior. Classic details are faithfully reproduced, including the silk-screened logo, the headstock bearing the “TV MODEL” inscription, and the wraparound bridge. This guitar lets you fully enjoy the rich low end and sustain unique to a single-cutaway design, as well as the pure tone born from its simple construction. The frets have more than 70% of their original depth remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
