Seller's description

Made in Japan / Beige Label. Since its release in 1961, the Epiphone Casino has been known for being played not only by The Beatles but also by many other renowned artists. Manufactured by Matsumoku (1985). Featuring a slim body similar to the ES-335, it has a fully acoustic construction without a center block; a laminated maple body with moderate arching; a three-piece maple neck; a rosewood fingerboard; a two-point truss rod cover; and a distinctive sound produced by P-90-type pickups and a blank tailpiece. With its classic looks, this Casino—often used in rock, pop, and blues—is known for its clear, warm “Liverpool sound.” Signs of use are visible (scratches on the headstock tip and around the body; polishing marks on the headstock top and truss rod cover; a crack in the finish near the front pickup on the 6th-string side; scuffs, playing lines, and picking marks; scratches on the knobs; two peeled-off metal plates; tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws; and other cosmetic damage). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The originally narrow fret tops are on the low side but remain at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been verified to function properly up to 60 degrees in both directions. Condition: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 5063147 Year of Manufacture: 1985 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Hard Case Weight: 3.14 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement has been confirmed up to 60 degrees in both directions with no problems Fret Wear: Note: While the frets can still withstand filing, they are on the low side Strings at Setup: ERNIE BALL 2221 / .010-.046 set Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections that are not clearly visib
