From the listing
2025 Model 1961 Les Paul SG Standard Reissue Stop-Bar VOS Cherry Red. A reissue of the first-year SG model—known as the “Les Paul SG”—which was released in 1961 as the successor to the Les Paul. Features a one-piece solid mahogany neck and body, with a rosewood fingerboard. It features the all-hide glue (hydroglu) construction—a standard since 2013—combined with a long tenon joint. Unlike the traditional “1960 Slim Taper,” this dealer-order model features the “Authentic ’64 Medium C-Shape” neck, which is moderately thick and rounded—a specification unique to this model. It is equipped with “Custombucker Alnico III (Unpotted)” pickups; by leaving them unpotted, the guitar reproduces an authentic, natural acoustic sound similar to the original PAF, along with a crisp, edgy tone. There are paint chips and dents near the top of the headstock and around the jack, and the guitar has fine scratches and small dents throughout. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the guitar is in good condition for normal use.
