Seller's description

The Mustang debuted in 1964 as a Fender student model. The body features a contoured profile; the neck is maple with a “72 NOV” date stamp; the fingerboard is rosewood with a 7.25-inch radius; and the pots and pickups are dated 1973. There is some twisting visible in the neck, but at this time, it has virtually no impact on playability. There is a substance resembling adhesive adhering to the underside of the pickguard, causing the body’s finish to be melted. The guitar will be delivered in its current condition. We have performed fret leveling and string-grazing removal maintenance. It was refretted and re-nuted during the previous owner’s ownership. The pickguard has been replaced. The tremolo arm is missing. There are numerous scratches, dents, and areas of peeling paint on the headstock and body; a dent with indentation is visible on the back of the neck; the sides of the fingerboard show peeling paint and unevenness; and the metal parts exhibit noticeable rust, tarnish, and pitting. There are other signs of wear and discoloration, but the overall condition is good. The included case has a sour, vinegar-like odor.
