Seller's description

This is a "Chet Atkins Nashville" guitar from around 1972, when the model number was changed from "6120" to "7660," with modified tuning pegs. The tuning pegs have been replaced with Grover pegs, and the original screw holes remain visible on the back of the headstock. Please note that the original parts are not included. A crack with a gap running down the center—from the tip of the back of the headstock to near the junction with the neck—had developed, so adhesive was injected into the gap to repair it. The crack in the wood itself extends to the area around the 2nd fret on the back of the neck, and a step can be felt when touched. Additionally, a scratchy noise occurs when the controls are operated. The guitar will be delivered in its current condition. The cracked area is not covered by the used instrument warranty. The guitar has undergone refretting and fingerboard leveling. There are dents near the 1st and 5th frets on the fingerboard that could not be fully corrected during the fingerboard repair. Overall, weather checking is visible on the finish, and discoloration is present along the binding. Rust, discoloration, tarnish, and pitting are noticeable on the metal parts. There is stain-like paint damage on the front of the headstock; a crack in the wood has formed where the paint has peeled off at the tip of the headstock; and there are noticeable paint cracks and unevenness at the junction between the neck and body. The back of the neck has scratches and dents, and the body as a whole has numerous scratches and dents; there is paint peeling around the bridge and jack areas. Both the instrument and the case have a musty odor that cannot be removed by cleaning.
