We have received a CTM 000-28 from recent years in pristine condition. A Custom Shop CTM 000-28 has arrived. This is a spot-order model manufactured in 2022 that spares no expense in selecting and using premium-grade materials. Furthermore, the body top is crafted from “select Grade 45 solid Sitka spruce.” The Martin Custom Shop operates in a dedicated production area separate from the regular production line. Composed of a team of master builders—a select group of elite craftsmen—the C.F. Martin Custom Shop is the pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship, where highly skilled artisans with exceptional technical expertise create extraordinary guitars. The manufacturing process is managed according to the Custom Shop’s unique procedures, which continue to honor C.F. Martin’s history and traditional craftsmanship. (These scratches are similar to those that might occur on a brand-new guitar on display in a store due to trial playing.) We noticed this during the inspection and setup after the guitar arrived, specifically when changing the strings: there are tool marks on the fingerboard at the 11th and 12th frets from fretwork. However, these are very minor marks—the kind you’d only notice while changing strings—and you likely won’t even not
