The body is all-solid, with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back—the classic J-45 specifications. It features scalloped X-bracing and a single-ring rosette. It has a straight saddle, and the Gibson-scale mahogany neck features a familiar round profile. It features a set of three Kluson-style tuners and is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup, allowing for volume and tone control via controls located at the edge of the soundhole. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish (gloss) and glue-in dovetail neck joint are standard features.
