This is a Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Custom 24 with bird inlays and a Pattern Thin neck, manufactured in 2018. The Custom 24 is Paul Reed Smith (PRS)’s flagship model, beloved by players of all kinds—including touring artists around the world. It features a figured maple top and mahogany back, a Pattern Thin-shaped mahogany neck, a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, 85/15 pickups, and a 5-way blade switch. Although a standard model, it boasts bold grain and a refined look with natural binding, exceptional playability and exquisite tone thanks to the thin Pattern Thin neck, and a wide variety of sounds via the 5-way selector switch. There are signs of wear (cosmetic damage such as dents on the body edge near the controls, scuffs, playing marks, picking marks, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). While the originally narrow fret tops are on the lower side, they are currently at a height that poses no issues for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in both directions and has been tested to operate within a range of ±60°.
