From the listing
A round-shoulder acoustic guitar inspired by the 1930s J-35, featuring a classic look and rich tone! The J-35 30s Faded is a recreation of Gibson’s historic J-35 round-shoulder model, inspired by the original 1930s design. It features a Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany sides and back, along with hand-scalloped X-bracing. With its warm midrange and rich resonance, it accommodates a wide range of playing styles, from strumming to fingerpicking. Its classic design, reminiscent of early J-35s—including a tiger-stripe pickguard and a rectangular bridge—adds to its appeal. The Faded finish lends it a subdued, elegant look, and with the L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system, this guitar is well-suited for amplified performances, whether live or in the studio. There is a scratch from picking near the soundhole. Other than that, while there are some minor scratches and dents, it is in relatively good condition. Fret wear was observed, so the frets have been refaced. The neck is in good condition, and the guitar plays well.
