As part of Taylor’s entry-level series, the Academy 12e prioritizes playability and ease of use. Manufactured in 2022, this model features a compact Grand Concert body with a solid Sitka spruce top and layered sapele sides and back. It offers a clear attack and well-balanced resonance, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from fingerstyle to chord strumming. The short scale length and a nut width of approximately 42.9 mm make it easier to play without straining your fingers. The part of the body where your arm rests has been contoured to ensure a comfortable playing position even during long performances. Equipped with an ES-B pickup system, it’s ready to be connected to an amp or PA system. With a built-in tuner, this guitar is versatile enough for everything from practicing at home to live performances. There is a dent at the corner of the fingerboard on the 1st string side at the 3rd fret. Scratches are visible on the side of the body.
