Elegant Classic White that highlights its classic style! A 2026 Gibson SG Standard ’61 Classic White has arrived. Designed with the 1961 SG in mind, it features a deep body scarf, a 5-ply small pickguard, and a slim-tapered mahogany neck. The combination of a mahogany body and a rosewood fingerboard ensures light handling and smooth playability all the way up to the high frets. It’s equipped with 60s Burstbucker pickups. Combining a crisp attack with rich mids and clear highs, it delivers that signature SG presence—from clean tones to powerful overdrive sounds. While it shows signs of use, such as picking scratches, and there is some paint unevenness near the bridge on the body top—likely from the manufacturing process—it has been cleaned and set up and is in good condition. This is an attractive instrument that combines classic specifications reminiscent of early SG models with a unique take on the Classic White finish. If you’re looking for an SG that’s easy to play and has a strong presence, please don’t miss this opportunity to purchase it!
