The Les Paul Custom, whose specifications have been completely revamped as part of the “Inspired by Gibson Modern” collection. As an upgraded version of the Les Paul model—a groundbreaking masterpiece of solid-body guitars designed by Les Paul himself—it carries on the classic design of the 1950s Les Paul Custom, which was personally designed by Les Paul in 1954. It features a Modern Medium C-shaped neck profile, an ebony fingerboard, pearloid block inlays, and medium-jumbo frets. The hardware is unified in gold, featuring an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, a LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece, and two Probucker Custom humbuckers based on the Custom Shop’s Custombucker. The custom split diamond inlays on the headstock, which are slightly larger than those on previous models, are particularly eye-catching. The headstock shape is the 60s-style Kalamazoo headstock used on Epiphone products from the 1960s. In addition to noticeable tarnish and fine scuffs on the metal parts, there are signs of moderate wear, including playing scratches, small dents, and discoloration of the binding.
