Seller's description

The SG Standard '61 recreates the specifications of the original SG from 1961. Featuring a slim-tapered mahogany neck that’s thin and easy to play, a bound rosewood fingerboard, and a short tenon joint that connects to the body near the 22nd fret, this guitar delivers a tight, focused sound. It’s equipped with a Burstbucker 61R/61T pickup set featuring Alnico V magnets and features a 5-ply teardrop pickguard, which has a loyal following. This ’61-style SG Standard captures the charm of vintage SGs using modern technology. There are overall scratches and dents, and the body back shows some paint reaction, while the metal parts have a dulled finish. The frets have 70% of their original depth remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable. The included case is a Gibson soft case.
